design contortionism
c. connie yeh
Contortion requires great strength and flexibility. And while the results look impossible, the performers do indeed have bones.
I am developing skills to flexibly move through the disciplines of design, engineering, and art. Throughout, I maintain a strong spine of values and responsibilities.
Designers have the potential of being superheroes or supervillains by influencing how we interact with our increasing artificial world. And I want to be in the league who use their powers for "good."
I started from mechanical engineering at MIT, then flew over the ocean to integrate it with industrial design at TU Delft in the Netherlands. My current focus is on the user experience and interaction. I'm uploading more descriptions of projects, but feel free to carry-out my portfolio and CV from the menu at the bottom.
I am currently looking for both a graduation project and future employment. Areas of interest can be found here.
